The Mechanical Department in construction companies is responsible for the design and implementation of all mechanical systems in projects. This includes HVAC systems, drainage and water supply, elevators, and fire fighting systems. The department works closely with other disciplines to ensure the quality and efficiency of execution.

HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning)

 – Includes the installation of central air conditioning systems, air handling units, ductwork, and ventilation for kitchens and bathrooms.
– Purpose: To maintain air quality and comfortable indoor temperatures.

Plumbing Works

– Covers cold and hot water supply piping, drainage networks, sanitary connections, and water heating systems.
– Purpose: To provide a safe and healthy water supply and waste disposal system.

 

Fire Fighting Systems

– Includes fire sprinklers, extinguishers, fire pumps, and dedicated water tanks for firefighting.
– Purpose: To protect the building against fire hazards in accordance with code requirements.

Elevators and Special Mechanical Systems

– Involves the installation of elevators, escalators, and internal transport systems.
– Purpose: To facilitate the movement of people and goods inside the building.
